nooooo...definately not. and i would not give em any info pertaining to your bank routing account numbers..they may suck it dry w/out autho..i always send certified funds and yes most try to say they can't accept...blah blah blah..the check has always gotten cashed..but thats not true..they may not want mail checks..but they will take em...
but if they are inistent about electronic payments, open an account with amount needed for payment and only put in it whats needed or what you can afford to loose..watch carefully for overdraws..or try prepaid cc or debit
as for the no copy of written payment..that too is ca bs..nothin
as for the no copy of written payment..that too is ca bs..nothing permits them of sending a payment agreement on an account...total ca bs...remember they must notify you in writing prior to withdrawing any funds electrinically from an account...watch to ensure amounts listed matches your account statements if you go that route...ca always tries to bully consumer into something questionable at best..don't let em do it to you..good luck

The FTC works for the consumer to prevent fraudulent, deceptive and unfair business practices in the marketplace and to provide information to help consumers spot, stop, and avoid them. To file a complaint or to get free information on consumer issues, visit ftc.gov or call toll-free, 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357); TTY: 1-866-653-4261. The FTC enters Internet, telemarketing, identity theft, and other fraud-related complaints into Consumer Sentinel, a secure online database available to hundreds of civil and criminal law enforcement agencies in the U.S. and abroad. also get your self a copy of the FAIR DEBT Collection ACT..

Nothing permits them or prevents them? Actually in 3rd party collections, the clients do not allow payment agreements in writing to be sent out. Settlement agreements for short term payments, yes but in the long term no...they definately do not allow them. Why you ask?? Debtors abuse them....they will send them to the CRA's asking for a change to "paid as agreed" or they will use it to get additional credit.
