I owe for an apartment I left in baltimore. I finally have the money, but they want to sue with legal and court fees. I don't have the fees. Is there any way to pay what I owe w/o paying all the legal fees?

Can I know whether or not you had a talk about this with the apartment committee? If you have not, then talk to them about your willingness to make the payment. Get the payment agreement in writing.

No I have not. I thought since there is a court date already, that I have to speak with the lawyers whos name appears on the court papers.
