I contacted a credit card company today to discuss options for payment. I am overdue and would like to pay, but have other bills as well and I'm trying to make due. I was informed that my account had been sent to the law office Mann Bracken. I was not informed of this prior to today. I was told that the account was switched over in June of this year. Is this legit? Should I call the lawfirm to schedule payments or can I request that it be sent back to Target

I have heard bad things about Mann Bracken. Watch yourself. You can send mann a letter stating what you afford to pay. (also make sure they are collecting the right amount and not jacking it up!). Do this letter cmrr so you have proof of it. If they sue you, you can show this letter to the judge to show that you are trying to do the responsible thing.
