Call from Collection Agency

i have been receiving calls from a collection agency they refer to themselves as financial law group 347-560-5015 the message they leave is that I have a pending legal case and they have an affadavit against me They do not give any information about who they are collecting for just that they need my attorneys name and number or im gonna face big legal trouble obviously i wont pay them anything but since they wont identify themselves how i can i send a DV letter

If you really have a pending legal case, then you would have received some court papers. Have you received anything? If not, there is no need to get worried. Ask them to send you the copy of legal papers. You can also contact a lawyer and get his opinion about this matter.

well a quick search of the number you posted just goes to other sites where the same complaint.i wouldn't return the call as some others have stated they were threatened over an old or non-existent pdl.again a scam and should be reported.
