Law Firm Pezzuto Help?

Has anyone dealt with firm? The CC sold the debt Collect America in which they are using Pezzuto Law Firm in AZ.
My dilema is that i got a call today from this lawfirm at work in reference to this debt. The law firm did not indenfied themselves other than Joe Pezzuto law firm. I the person please give me phone number to call him back. His rude reply when and how long i will call back? He refused once again to give his phone number. Then he stated that i am refusing to pay my debt. He will be sueing me and garnishing my wages.
A few minutes later a person from Pezzuto law called me. He told me that he over heard the conversation. He proceded to give me his name and phone number. I advise him that the previous person made threats to sue me. This a violation of the fair debt collection act. I asked him if he was an Attorney and his reply he was not. I asked him does this CA owns the debt? He stated that CC company sold it to Collect America?
I have never received anything from Collect America? He proceded to tell me if do not pay i will be sued?
Can they say this to me? What are my options? This debt is about six month old and it charged off by CC in Aug 08.
I have read up on Collect America and they outsource their collection to attorneys.
Please help and advise?

Can a creditor put a lien on your property? Is this different than a tax lien? The way i understand is that if a credititor sues and puts a lien on the property. It stays there until the property is sold or refinanced then the lien has to be satisfied?
Garnishing wasges question? How much can they take out in Georgia?
Is it typical for CA to sue for garnishment of wages?
Btw i have sent today the DV letter! What is the next step? If the CA sends me generated print out from their offices is this sufficeient to validate the debt?

Law Firm Pezzuto Help?
I just called at work again from this law firm. This time i was not able to get the phone. He left a message with a my co-worker indentified as a phone call from the Pezzuto Law Firm?
WTF is this allowed? Any violation? I just sent them today overnight express the DV letter and to cease all communication calling me at work. Any thoughts?
