I am currently being sued for a little over 1000.00 by Pinnacle LLC for an old credit card. Anybody ever tried to settle with a company after the lawsuit has been filed. Or has anybody ever answered the complaint with the defense of the debt had never been validated and won? Thanks!
First of all check whether the old debt has passed it's statute
First of all check whether the old debt has passed it's statute of Limitation. If it has expired then no one can collect it from you. If the debt is real then call the collection agency of the lawyer who sent the summons and try to settle the debt.
