Need advice, I have received a Plaintiffs first request for admissions from unifund ccr thru a local attorney for a credit card debt. I have sent them two certified letters for validation and the only thing they sent was a statement of the account. The statue of limitations is out on this account in my state which I pointed out to the attorney. The first request was sent only by mail not certified. Advice please!

OK, if they sent admissions, you are being sued, I presume. Did you get a summons? Did you answer it? If the debt is out of statute, file a motion with the court to dismiss on those grounds. And answer the admissions, with denials.
