Hello,
I have been receiving calls from US National Bank. They first called my home number and left a threatening message with my room mate. This jerk stated that he was preparing an affadavit to give to the police and if I didn't respond with a payment that they could even show up at my work. He said I violated Federal check writing laws. The next day I called this guy, he started the same thing again. I could hear multiple people on phones. It sounds like a boiler room. I told him I wanted specific information on these payday loans he says I owe US National Bank but he could not provide exact info. I then asked him to speak more clearly. He had a heavy accent, could they be located in another country? I asked him what city they are in and he said Clayton,Michigan. Should I call the State of Michigan? Or do I wait til he calls back and tell him take a flying leap? I need some help!

I dont know if this would help you or not but I too had gotten those calls as well stating they were from US National Bank. They said the same thing that I was going to be arrested and "downloaded" in my county. They would not give me any information. I finally told them several months ago if they cant give me accurate information then dont bother to call me again. I hung up. A couple of months ago I got another call saying the same thing and still got no where. I could hardly understand the man on the phone very heavy accent.

You are not going to be arrested, They are not going to send the police to your place of employment/home.

Did you happen to get a number that they called from?

It's all a scare tactic.

Tweety! You're the one that was going to be downloaded?!? Now I remember!! I think other people were calling him, from this forum, trying to get information about him and his business. Weren't they? That was a funny story! I was trying to remember who that was told to, thanks for reminding me. I still chuckle about that comment.

Did you ever find out what being "downloaded" entailed? I would have said "Oh, that's okay. Just don't re-formant and re-partition me. Then I'm in trouble!"

:D yes, I can smile now becasue I was terrified and I still am. They had all my personal information incuding SS#. Of course I am a little relived to know that it is a tactic but how in the heck did they get my information. The number in which I was called from is 410-807-4507 and yes the accent was terrible.

Seriously don't worry about these losers. They wantonly break the law left and right and are such a shady company that not much information can be dug up about them. I have read many posts about these jokers. Stick to your guns and don't allow them to intimidate you with the BS they love to spew.
