Pressler & Pressler - judgment

Hi - I posted the following under subject "debt info" & then remembered something else. Here's my original post, though......
I already have a judgment against me from Pressler & Pressler. It says "Discover Bank" & I do have an outstanding debt with Discover card. I somehow missed the letter P&P sent in Sept/Oct saying they were suing me, so I didn't answer that. P&P (or county court) then sent letter requiring info on my bank accounts, etc. (I didn't send it back). Had a Sheriff show up the other day to take inventory in my home (we're already in foreclosure for Pete's sake!) but she did tell me I could deny her entry, which I did. Can't afford a lawyer; spoke to Legal Aid Society person today, but no help. Any suggestions from anyone would be most helpful. Oh - I'm not working right now, so there's nothing to garnish. HELP!! Thank you!!!
What I remembered is that on & off I get calls for someone who has the same name that I do. The calls I get are debt collectors & mostly, it's nothing I recognize. However, since I do have an outstanding debt with Discover card, is there anything I can do at all? Thanks again!!
P.S. I have to work REALLY quickly - like within the next few days, apparently.

first did you call the sheriff's office? I work in a county sheriff's office and many times people are afraid to call.. we have advice to give the public as long as someone asks.
I know you did not mention this, but you said you were in Foreclosure, please call your sheriff office. NJ has a new program that corzine started which basically forces the plaintiff to meet with you in front of a judge and try to work things out. there really are options.
