please help me out here, i just got informed of a letter my employer received (good think h/r didnt get it yet) i intercepted it before it went to them. its asking for all sorts of information, my name, address on their records, phone # ssn, position, hire/termination date, salary, and title.
i dont know what to do, has anybody seen/had this done to them? when i first had this company calling me i sent a cease and dessist letter but apparently they decided to send this letter to my place of work. what should i do? i was thinking about calling them to get more information about what is going on.
any help would be much appreciated

i called them and found out what is going on. they are sending me a debt validation letter. i also documented who i spoke with date and time with an extension. i also requested that they DO NOT call me at work, and not to send anything to my employer, as they will not fill out anyting they send them. also, i told them that ANY further contact be done by mail only to my place of residence. did i handle this correctly?

They are a collection agency in California. I have been in contact with them to resolve a debt I have with one of the hospitals. They have been okay with me, though I am behind with them at the moment. They'll help you I think, though they never sent a letter to my job as of yet.
