I've found so many threads about Cach, LLC but not a single story detailing how someone has won against these people. Prior to getting into specifics, if this has already been addressed, then please someone post where I can find the thread. I am dealing with Cach now and can either file for bk or sue these guys for violating my rights. I have yet to see a story about someone who's actually won against them. I'm poor, just had a car voluntarily repo'd, owe the government a debt, and have no other options but to file bk or win against Cach. Even as I make payments to the original creditor, w/o any validation from Cach, they are continuing to violate my rights. Debts to the government takes precedent over a miniscule credit card debt, and the bk court would agree. I have seen stories and threads but everything is left open ended. For instance, people have advised contacting the atty general for the state of the debt, but no one has followed up with whether that yielded any results. Has anyone ever filed a complaint with the FTC and what were the results? I apologize in advance if this prompts any angry people to somehow put me down. I'm use to it (being put down). One of my many bottom lines: I just wish I knew whether anyone knows of any lawsuit against Lowery or Cach. A significant other of mine that owed the same people years ago (for the same reason I am in this situation) indicated to me he read that Lowery has a bad court track record. Does anyone at least know a state where any legal proceedings may have occurred? I can do my own legal research, but I can't search anything when I do not know anything legally about the company. Any information offered is greatly, greatly appreciated. I hope someone can answer some of these questions, if not all of them. People of the world wide web: has anyone EVER won against these guys, not merely settling? If anyone can answer at least some of these questions, I truly believe it will help more than just myself. If this prompts people to just start bashing on debtors or defending debt collectors, or anything but answering these questions, or providing similar situations, then I'm truly sorry for ever posting this. It is a waste of internet usage and people's time. Other bottom line: I would truly like to avoid bk.

This person won without an attorney but I would reccommend you retain an attorney. There apparently have been several violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act here from what you said. Collectors like this routinely violate the law because they realize that very few will know their rights and fewer will ever file a suit because their targets are in debt and can't afford an attorney. If they are sued it is part of the cost of doing business and they usually settle out of court right away. I know because I have been there.
I am advising you to seek counsel. There are many attorneys that will take an FDCPA case on a contingency basis. I personally know of a couple in my state of Florida. I do not know where you are but I will be glad to help you find counsel.
