Has any one heard of Capital or Capital & Associates? They are harrasing me at work. Some guy named Donald Jackson left a voice mail claiming he has a summons to serve me because I have written a series of fraudulent check. I did not return the call since, my bank accounts are in good standing. He calls back the next day asking, "why I did not call the plaintiffs office?" In response, I said you are leaving fraudulent information on my work number, and to stop calling the office. He kept trying to verify my info, which I refused to give. When I asked for the plaintiff info, he said Raymond Capital, which is no one that I have had dealing with, he refused to give an address. I called the number he left, 888-207-0312, which states just simply Capital, please dial your parties extention or wait for the operator. When asking for the company name and address for my attorney, I was transferred to someone, who stated they are a debt collector, Capital & Associates, and due to the nature of their business they receive death threats (LOL), so they do not give out that information, have my attorney call the 888 #. I had an attorney call, they still refused to provide an address. I don't think it is a legit agency, but I would like to be sure. I did file a FTC complaint, but without a address, it isn't much that can be done.

Not to mention that BY LAW they have to provide you their contact information. Not only that, but if he does call you again inform him that since he has contacted you he now has 5 days to send you a letter regarding the debt. Also inform him that you are not allowed to accept calls at work and they are to stop immediately.

Someone else from the company called and left a voicemail stating that because I cursed out their associate, Donald Jackson, they can no longer help me, and they will be in contact with my manager, to serve me a summons. I did not call back, but had an associate who is an attorney call back, asking for debt validation and their address, which they still refused to provide.

I was able to track their phone number to a VOIP provider, but would need to get my IT Department involved to have their IP address traced/and warrant for a physical address. Hopefully, they will stop calling.

well let your manager know a complete piece of garbage is gonna be calling.these bottomfeeders really are something else...literally.nobody gets served over the phone period.just solidifies their stauts as a bottomfeeder.they threaten everything under the sun,and when you question,or sound confident over the phone you harrass them.i hope you filed a police report and complaints to your AG AND THE FTC.this is a piece of garbage that needs to be reported.
