Hello,
I received a summons to court from a creditor, Midland Funding LLC and their lawyer, in my county for a credit debt for a couple thousand dollars. It says I have 28 days to answer the complaint.
I sent the creditor a debt validation letter today, but am unsure of the next step to take. Please help.

It really is too late to DV....you have to answer the summons.
It really is too late to DV....you have to answer the summons. You can request proof of the debt in the discovery phase of the trial.
