They keep calling! Im afraid to answer..I have been tricked before into paying a debit I dont even really know I owe...I have not recieved any mail from them..How can I send S&D letter If I have no address..Should I just ask them? I dont want to say something they can use against me saying I admitted to the debt..I appreciate any feed back!!!

hi, this is the fax number and the exact letter that i used. they did call again after it was sent but it was because they were just sent the letter and the system was not updated yet but yes you remind them that you have sent this letter and don't back down.

fax# 713-423-1030

dear collection manager,

re: put the account number they gave you here or whatever reference number.

This letter is a written request asking you to cease and desist in your efforts to collect on the debt account as stated above. It is my personal choice to deal with the original creditor and not the collection agencies. Thus, I request you to cease collection efforts immediately or face legal actions under the state/federal laws. I hope you would consider giving this letter the attention it deserves.

Yours truly,

your name here.

CA's can get into alot of trouble if they disregard your letter. you can contact the FTC to file a complaint. Pull up your credit report and do research on what's going on there because you may have been a victim of identity theft if you have something questionable on there. good luck to you.:)
