can someone tell me exactly how to go about only repaying western sky the principal loan amount

You will need to revoke ACH
You will need to revoke ACH authorization and voluntary wage assignment in writing with the lender even before you decide to close your checking account. Send a copy of the the ACH revocation letter to your bank and the copy of the voluntary wage assignment letter to your payroll/HR department.
Send the principal amount via
Send the principal amount via money order to Western Sky. Close your account so that they can't debit money from your account.
