Requesting Debt Validation to the CA when paying on account

If I have been paying on a debt to a CA, can I still request the debt validation? I do owe money to the original creditor, but can't figure out how they came up with the amount they list.

I think debt verification letter will be more suitable in your case. Write a dispute letter to the collection company disputing on the charges. They will place your dispute with the original company and get it verified. Keep making the payments if you are sure on your file with them.
