I got a letter today from these "attorneys" saying they have been retained by LVNV Funding. I requested validation from LVNV awhile ago (3 months or more), have the green card so I know it got there and never heard from them.

Now this law firm sends me the standard mini miranda along wih a statement that "they desire to give me an opportunity to settle this matter before legal action becomes neccesary."

So what do I do? Do I DV the lawyers and what exactly should I say since it was never properly validated by the original CA? Thanks

Welcome to the site lwishman. First I would list what state you live in. What I would do is to send copies of all my paper work on this matter to your States Attorneys Office and to your local BBB. There is alot of people here, myself also, who has been there done that. Also, click on the "free consultation" button that is just to the right of this post. They can answer your questions and help you with your situation. You have come to a place that is like no other that is dedicated to help those who are fighting to get out of debt.

thanks
