CA LVNV Funding Who are They??
Date: Thu, 02/24/2011 - 09:50
I sent a cert. letter to Resurgent Capitol Services the master servicer for LVNV Funding LLC and asked for validation of debt.
Ireceived a letter back before the 30days that says "Thank yu for your recent inquiry regarding this account. We have taken the necessary actions to ensure you will receive no further communications from Resurgent Capitol Services L.P. If you have any further questions, please contact CSR at #"
Then next page has 4 sentences for "proof of debt" with staement of who has and since when and amount. Aren't they suppose to sent me ALOT more info for proof of debt?? And wht are they saying they will not contact me further???
The info they sent me was computer printed about one tiny paragraph stating acct #, date of when they say they LVNV aquited acct and amount owed. No original signed paperwork from OC etc. They sent the above to me in the 30 days of my request but it is not real DV right?
What do I do next?
nothing, save everything you have there and just wait, odds are
nothing, save everything you have there and just wait, odds are LVNV will farm it out to one of their other collectors and they will try again. It sounds to me like they know they have nothing to stand on, what they sent you is NOT validation of any kind. Just save everything you have and they sent for the next bottom feeder to try. basically it will be a rinse and repeat process of DV letters
Just remember LVNV is one of the worst bottom feeders out there.
Just remember LVNV is one of the worst bottom feeders out there. They will send it to another one of the collectors, keep everything from everyone that sends you something. If you get another collection letter see if its a company owned by LVNV, if it is you just may have them on violations. They already had one of their collectors try and you DV'd them and they had nothing to show proof. If they keep sending it to another one of there collectors they are scamming the system and you should sue them, thats why I said to KEEP everything to show a chain.
