Has anyone heard of Ecast Settlement or Roundup Funding? They are both listed on my credit report and I'm trying to figure out who both of them could be collecting for :?

I have never heard of them either. It is on my credit report also. I have back track to the companies that I was told where it came from, but nobody has an account in my name.

I noticed this "creditor" when checking my bankruptcy account online. So I did research on Roundup Funding LLC. It is easy for me to give you the site I read this off of, then to tell you all about it. But as soon as I get some printed articles and cases together, I'm going to see my attorney, because the company can be dismissed from your bankruptcy and can also be fined $50,000 for fraudulent claims. This is the site ripoffreport.com/reports/0/383/RipOff0383845.htm

I just found an Ann Taylor account on my credit report that was discharged in a bankruptcy more than 20 yrs. ago. Ann Taylor told me the account had been "transferred" to B-Line and gave me their number as (866) 670-2361. When I called, they answered B-Line, LLC and the rep gave me a mailing address of P.O.Box 91121 MS 550, Seattle, WA 98111-9221. When I asked about Roundup Funding, she said they were a subsidiary of B-Line.

ecast settlement corp. is a collection company that one of your creditors has sold your account to. Your creditor then reports your account to credit bureaus as a "charge off" and it becomes a very serious mark on your credit report. I do not know where you can contact "ecast". They seem to want to stay hidden!

ECastSettlement Corp. filed a claim in my bankruptcy case claiming to have bought my wife's CitiCard Visa card balance from CitiCard. Strange thing is that the card balance was current with no late payments at all until after we filed bankruptcy. We stopped receiving any monthly statements and called and wrote to CitiCard who only transferred us over to their attorney staff. We made one more full payment sent to the last known address and requested in writing that they continue to send us current account statements, but they ignored our requests and calls and sold the balance to eCast, who filed the BKR Claims as the creditor, which they have not provided any validation of assignment for any of our debt from CitiCard. CitiCard should retract any charge offs if they did report any negative information AFTER bankruptcy was filed, since that is a FDCRA Violation and they can be fined up to $50,000.00 for such violations.
