Scammed by US Cash Advance

Right after that, he called me again and asked if I hung up on him and I told him yes as I was at work and I couldn't talk. He told me to call back when I get a chance and again I asked him who he was talking about and he said US Cash Advance.
About an hour later, I called this US Cash Advance and they told me I was in default with a payday loan for $300.00. He had all of my personal information to verify. I had him tell me what information he had and I would not verify it. When I asked him when this loan was allegedly taken out he told me in 2012 and I told him I needed a month that this allegedly happened. He would only tell me August, 2012. When I asked for a specific date this alleged loan took place and when I was supposed to pay it back, he wouldn't give me the information and said that this matter would be going to collections.
I found this website after I talked to him and found out all of the complaints that have been filed and now this has gone to California. I have checked my bank account and no loan was taken from this company and I now I find out that this company is from India and the real US Cash Advance does not do business out of the state of Kentucky. This is not the only company that is doing this. Another company has managed to take all of my money out of my checking and leaving me brooke. I have to fight with the companies that are allegedly doing this.

You have to understand a couple of things here:
1. Debts are a civil matter, not criminal. Whenever you get a call where the person on the other end of the line claims to be an investigator or such and such are pressing criminal charges, hang up and report them to the county cops, the AG and the FTC.
2. DO NOT divulge personal information like credit/debit card numbers, SSN over the phone. You never know what kind of crooks you are talking to.
Your bank account got compromised possibly because:
a) You were doing business with an illegal payday lender, possibly offshore who drained your account the moment you defaulted.
b) You gave away your banking information to some con artist claiming to be a Federal Investigator or something.
Anyways, I would recommend that you put a fraud alert on your credit report just to be safe.
