Creditors exchange

I sent all the paperwork to them and Registered mail to all the companys involved, In Nov 2008. I never received anything from then and they just sent me a new bill. Creditors interchange. I live in SD. They say they are going to garnish my husbands wages, take our money in the bank. It is his acct. Can they?

I sent them the registered letter, the cease and I saved everything. When I told them this I was told BIG DEAL and now they wont give me back my money for Jan. They said Big deal you started payments and we have your bank info.
