CA wants our acct number...

We are setting up payment, we have the settlement agreement and we are telling them we are going to send a cashier's check and they keep insisting we give acct number. If we just send the cashier's check do you think there will be a problem?

DO NOT give them any bank account info under any circumstances!! Once they have it they WILL empty out your account. Send a money order or cashiers check-if they refuse that then you have proof you attempted to work with them and they refused your payment, that will work in your favor should it ever go to a court case. Again DO NOT give any CA any banking info, you will regret it

Thank you! Thanks to this site we have learned valuable info. Since I posted this 1/2 hour ago, my husband got it worked out that we will be sending a cashier's check. They were really trying to strong arm him, I feel sorry for those that don't know better!
