I received a settlement offer from Northland Group for an old debt that LVNV now owns. It's a very low settlement amount and I'd like to settle it, but how do I know it's a legit offer that will be honored by LVNV?

How old is the debt and what state do you live in?? Is the debt even within SOL?? LVNV is a junk debt buyer...personally I wouldnt pay them a dime.
