Received a phone call at work from Roxanne and she stated I will be surved a summons within 48 hours at my place of employement for fruad withing FDIC if I did not pay the money owed. I asked her the amount and she said the loan was for $500, but you owe $1100 for back interest and fees. I said what payday company is this with? She said AWTC? I then replied never heard of them and she said it was sold to Loan Point USA. I then said I never had a loan with them can you send me loan agreement and she said we don't do that you have 48 hrs to set up payment arrangements otherwise a sherriff will be at your work to take you to court. She hung up! Do you think this is a scam, if she can't find my agreeement?


I got a similar call and chose to ignore it....about a week later I got a court summons for check fraud. Not sure if this same people but it's certainly a coincidence.

lie somewhere else okay.check fraud is a crime and you don't get served for that.again lie elsewhere shill.

Sheesh you would think these guys would at least try to sound a little convincing....I guess the 'pay your bills deadbeats' got old so now they are trying this method.

Getting served a summons for check fraud...yeah....and my brother just got served a summons for bank robbery...wonder if he will show up?
