WHat do you mean by Skiptracing?

Hi!
Welcome to the forums!
Skiptracing refers to the process of locating an individual who is missing. Several people disappear every year due to various reasons - debt problems, unhappy marriage, mental sickness, etc. It is the job of the skip tracing investigators to find those persons using various techniques.

Skiptracing is a term which can be used to describe the process of find out a person's whereabouts for any purpose. Locating people who have fled without giving notice, absconded to avoid paying debts, or those that are trying to hide from the law, can be located though the process of skiptracing.

you make it sound so dark and dirty. People move, change phone numbers. Skiptacing is simply a tool used to find contact information. I did it on a daily basis for student loans....calling directory assistnace, relatives, going thru credit reports. Most were not evading, just lost track of their debt. Or they thought the post office forwarding was sufficient.
