What is the statue of limation on debt in Colorado. This debt came off my report after 7 years, now someone has sold it to someone else but it has the original name on it. What can they do to me and my credit report.

If it has been 7 years since your last payment then they have no legal standing to file suit and sounds like federal reporting period has expired as well. They cannot add it back. They do have the right to collect on the debt. You have the right to tell them to FOAD.
