If you have a doubt that the debt claimed against you is invalid, then you ask the caller to give you their physical mailing address. Once you have that, please send them a Validation Letter asking them to validate the debt that they claim to have against you. If they do validate the debt, then you would have to arrange for the payments. If they cannot validate the debts or if they do not reply to that letter, then good for you. You would not be obligated to pay them anything.
