000-000-0000 has called several days times in the past week. They say nothing if I answer the phone, and if I don't answer, they leave no message. Strange.

I wouldn't worry about it, if they won't leave a message then how are you supposed to know who to call back. No one really has that number they are just security screening their calls by using that normally.

It's a blocked number. Inform your phone company if they can stop this call from coming to you. If this call serves no purpose, it should not disturb you in anyway.

There is a bill in congress now that would make it illegal for Any one to Alter or "Spoof" their caller ID information. This has been a topic discussed in the past, and 000-000-0000 would be an instance where caller ID information was altered. Unavailable or blocked number are presented by the telephone carriers as such, and not with a simple 000-000-0000. If I can find more information, I will post it in the Political Action Forum.
