I was told that the money would come out of my account on the 3rd of the month. However, it is being taken out on the first and sometimes it tries to come out at the end of the month.
I am on SSI and I only get $449 a month. I have tried to get the amount lowered that they take out, but they refuse. They are taking $50 a month and this puts an undue hardship on me.
How can I resolve this?

yeah, it is a fact that SSI is protected from judgments and if the SSI is the ONLY money going into that account, then it is protected as well. Do as Soaplady asks, give us more details as there are different laws and remedies open to you depending on if it is a collection account or still with the original creditor and what type of account this is!

The kind of monthly income you have, that you have stated is really seriously matter of concern. If your monthly income is that much then it's even tough to cope up with your basic needs..But to assist you in a better way I need more information like what kind of debt you have & are these accounts in collection or with the original creditor? So that I can come up with proper remedies for you!!!!

Well , we see that there are various types of automated transactions requests that a company could take from you, however here you need to check the date that you have actually given for the ach because it should never happen that the ach date is on the 3rd and the money is taken out even before that . So please check the date that you have given and reply .
