My neice called me to say that some man had gone to my mom's to serve a subpeona on my husband and I, we moved recently so they had no address for us. Anyway my question is "Can we be given a subpoena if we are two months late on vehicle payment and can't locate us"?

Yes, since it is a secured loan the creditor can take action against you even when you're only two months behind.
