What should I do?

Hi Everyone,
I would appreciate some advice. And I am sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.
I am in debt. I am unemployed and fell behind on all of my bills. I live with family for free and I don't have a penny to my name. As I am looking for work everyday and trying to open my dream business I am getting calls and letters from collectors.
They say they are going to "request" my full balance due. They say they are going to take me to court.
I used to be a Medical Billing Specialist and I know they have nothing to take me to court for because well, my car is paid off but not in my name (my Dads). I don't have a house, I own NOTHING. I don't have a paycheck of ANY kind so they cannot garnish anything.
So, my question is --what do I say? What do I do? I don't have a penny to give them and if they take me to court am I going to go to jail??? Because honestly--that's all they can take--is my body because I have nothing else.
They can tie me upside down and shake me to see if any pennies fall out but it's unlikely.
Please help!!!
PS: I am not some low-life. I got out of school and I am trying to open my own business (but that's hard to do with no money). I left my previous job because I was being harassed. And no, I am not suing because certain complications. Anyway, it wasn't safe for me to stay so now I am in this mess.

As long as your family isn't a cosigner on any of those debts then they cannot take anything from you. THat doesn't mean the debt goes away of course... it still is owed.
