I have a person calling me telling me that if I don't pay the amount they want me to pay that they are suing me and taking me to court. I tell them I can only pay so much and that is not good enough for them. What should I do?

John P. Frye is a know bottomfeeder and in 2007, was sued by the state of Colorado for FDCPA violations. Hit them with a DV request via CMRRR and see what turns up. Settle for nothing less than a copy of the original loan contract/agreement that you had signed as proof.

Steve....JPF is not a bottomfeeder or a JDB. They take on accounts that are assigned to them.

To the OP...ignore SteveBarris....
Who is JPF collecting for? Have you called them to verfiy that they placed your account with JPF??
FYI...no collection agency or law office is legally bound to give you payments you can afford. They are there to collect the balance or in an attorneys case, sue you.
