what to do if you receive a summons from a junk debt collector?

well first you must determine some things before responding like.

1)is the debt past SOL
2)was the debt already paid either in full,or by settlement
3)does this debt exist

you see assett acceptance is a bottomfeeding turdpile that never collects debt that is legitimately owed.they try to rush a court date through to get a cheap payday on one of these.if the debt is past SOL respond to your court that way.if the debt was paid in full or settled respond that way.if you can't recall the debt then respond that you will demand validation during discovery.now once you respond assett,or whatever slime they have suing you will contact you.do not believe anything they say,and go through the courts only.so you need to respond, but see what instance applies to you before responding.
