Summons in debt collection

On March 2 my husban recieve a summons from Isaac L. Hammer. for Capital One Credit Card. the paper are asking for a him to go to the and file a legal paper called motion or answer with in 30 days along with a filing fee. I called the attorrney office and talked to a peralegale and explained that we just got notice of this demand and we have had extreme medical situation for the last 2 years and have also had extreme financal dificultys and we are still have both of those issue presently We are on SSI and we are below the poverty level on income I have to go to the food box monthy and we recive food stamps to be able to eat. I sent them a $5.00 check and told them that is the best presently We can do and to do this I have to go and collect bottle and can and turn them in for the deposit refund to pay this bill. I asked them to please cancle this court summons and we have no money but we are attempting to pay what we really don;t have. I have not recieved any answer from them. ther was a stamped fileing date and stamped by circit court of Oregon feb 20, 2013 PM 1:25 NO 1613 30593. What can I do to stop judgement, Or help my situation?
Unfortunately you will not be
Unfortunately you will not be able to stop the judgment. However since you are on SSI, there really is nothing that they can get since SSI is exempt income.
