Contact the court in LA and have them send you of copy of the service record.If you were not properly served, you can have the judgement set aside.
SOL on judgments in LA is 10 years....unless it is renewed, it should drop.

I didn't think they could, but Iwanted to make sure. The courts told me that it was renewed and that the 10 yrs was almost up. Ok can they put a lien on my property or is that not legal either. The debt is for a credit card I'm assuming. The court gave the phone # to the lawyer who is over the debt, but they were talking like they didn't have any paper work and that the lawyer who is representing the bank has all the paperwork. Is that not true
