P Scott Lowery/CACH LLC is offering me a settlement of 40%.....My question is what do I request in writing before I accept or negotiate further?

well you should get anything settlement offer in writing first period.in fact most communication should be by mail anyway.btw any CACH d/b/a is a JDB that should be dealt with by mail only.never just agree over the phone.as far as the 40% goes.it depends on the debt amount and 40% of that.it's up to you.can you pay it,and if you can yes get any agreement in writing and get this in writing as well.that you will owe nothing,and the forgiven portion will not be sold.
