validation and verification of debt

I received collection letter from CA. I sent out a letter of verification and validation of debt. I received the usual letter stating amount owed and original creditor but also there were included copies of all the credit card statements since the opening of the account (24 total). This surprised me because CA's don't have this materials 99.9% of the time. So my question is, In the event of a lawsuit how should I handle the fact that they have these statements prooving the amount that is owed?

This is something which your attorney will be able to answer in a better manner. You should have a word with your attorney and he/she will guide you as to how you can handle the fact that they have these statements prooving the amount that is owed.
