:shock:I just received a court notice from the Law Offices of Harold Scherr signed by Harold Scherr.
They are trying to collect over $3000 of a Capital One Credit card debt.
The problem: We never had a Capital ONE credit card and the name of the Defendant's name is the same as my wife's name (MARIA), but not her last name and certainly not her. How stupid is that?
So, I am so dumb that I buy a credit card debt from "X" bank and the credit card's holder name is Harold E. Johnson then I can go to a court and ask them to bother Mr. Harold Scherr because he has the same name. Is this practice even legal?
This firm is terrible!!! What about doing your due diligence first before wasting people's time and energy?
