CAN COLLECTORS SUE MY SPOUSE

Please tell me, if you know, if a credit card, or debt collector, can sue my spouse even though spouse's name is not on the credit card accounts. Spouse did not apply for, or use my credit cards.

My debts are 90 days past due. When might they sue?

Thank you.

If the credit collectors sue, and get a judgement against me, and I don't have an income, can they get a judgement against my husband even though he doesn't own the debt, nor did he use the credit card?

bottomline even they were an authorized user they can get there name off of the card with a phone call.so no they can't sue your spouse for your debt.

Bottom line....collectors are not attorneys...they do not have the legal capacity to sue and they probably do not have personal jurisdiction either.
