A collection agency called re: alleged credit card debt incurred 200-2004 in amt. of 700.00 now asking for 1200. I said I can pay $25.00 mo. based on my SS check, she said I refused to pay the debt. What can I do?

What state are you in? If the debt was in 2004, it should be out
What state are you in? If the debt was in 2004, it should be outside the SOL, in most states, which means they cannot sue you over it. Listen to JLB and send them a D V letter. You probably won't get a response.
