Has anyone heard of or dealt with ERS? They are calling stating they are a process server for the state of Texas and that if I do not contact them I will be served at my place of employment. I contacted them at 855-596-2702 and they indicated they were collecting on a payday loan from Riverside (also known as Evergreen) from Feb 2013. I did not take this payday loan, and the bank acct they claim it was made to was closed in Feb 2013. They refuse to give me any written validation of the debt, stating the original creditor had sent me numerous emails (the acct of the email they have was closed in 2013 as well!). The calls are nonstop threatening to serve the papers, and they call before 8:00 am.

I assume this is a scam? Just wanted to see if anyone else had dealt with them? I cannot find any legitimate information on any of the three company names they gave me - ERS, Riverside or Evergreen.

Thank you for the response, I will file those complaints now!

no process server calls in advance.also the reason you can't find any legit info is because it's a scam.the person who stated they were a process server broke the law and would be arrested themselves.last thing bottomfeeding scams always threaten the"service at work"as a scare tactic.i would file an AG AND FTC complaint using the name ERS and any indiviual names, and numbers.after that ignore these losers as they can/wll do nothing they threaten.
