Anyone heard of National Litigations??

Yesterday, I received a message from my cousin who had gotten a call at her residence from Randall Stevens of National Litigations. He was requesting she get a message to me to contact him and he left a contact number and a case number. I also received a message on my phone from Josh Palmer of the same company. I called back with my case number and was transferred to Randall Stevens. After he looked up my "case," he said East Side Lenders was filing two charges against me: one for writing a bad check and one for intent to defraud. I know this stemmed from a payday loan. I am in the state of CA and I advised him that per CA state laws, a payday loan is a civil issue and as such, no criminal charges could be filed. I also advised him that this particular company had a desist and refrain order against them from CA's Department of Corporations for violating CA's payday loan laws such as not being licensed to lend in CA, lending more than allowed in CA, and charging more interest than CA laws allow. He then said he was not an attorney and was transferring me to a supervisor. The supervisor got on the line and I advised him of the same. He said they were still entitled to restitution. I told him fine, sue me and when you do, I will present the desist and refrain order that shows they are not allowed to conduct business with residents of CA. Just wondering if anyone else has had any dealings with this company as I cannot find anything about them online.

this is a scam
you need to report this place to your AG as well as the FTC.you habdled the call very well and know your stuff.they did break the law hand over fist.first only a law firm can sue,and they admitted they are not a law firm.then they implied as you stated about the crminal accusations.again use the name of this scam,and any numbers you have to file the complaints.do that and ignore future calls.they are a bottomfeeding scam.
