I can't get a hold of United Credit Recovery for a paid letter

I had an account with Wells Fargo charged off about 3 years ago and I want to re-open an account with them. They indicated this would be no problem with a paid in full letter. I paid the debt off about a year ago to Imperial Recovery Partners, LLC. Wells Fargo indicated the debt was owned by United Credit Recovery and an internet search indicated Imperial was managed by UCR so it looks like the right person got paid, however, Imperial did not send me a letter and none of their numbers work anywhere. I've been trying to contact UCR for weeks but their only listed number is a voicemail machine. I've left several voicemails and e-mails requesting a callback but can't get one. I also tried a place called World Recovery Services which is managed by UCR but they indicated they wouldn't have me in their system and they didn't have any numbers for UCR to give me. Anyone know how I can get a hold of these people?

You probably wont get one. Your account is probably achived and not accessible anymore. No one is going to waste money returning a call on an account they cant even pull up on the computer.
That was rude and uncalled for.
Stephen, dont let what this lady wrote discourage you. You can file a complaint with the BBB and also take them to small claims court. All you really need is to get the hold on your bank history off. Then you'll be able to open a new one.
dont be discouraged, do your research and don't give up trying. i am having the same issue with the same company.

Oh please...where are coming up with this garbage??? The BBB cant do anything...it has no legal or regulatory powers and he has no actual damages to sue for in small claims court. He should have gotten a paid in full letter at the time he paid the debt...not a year later. As I said before, accounts that old are closed and archived. They have no legal obligation to provide on at this point.
geez
i love having unregistered idiots.soaplady is right and jen is wrong on all counts.go ahead OP jump through the flaming hoops and get nowhere.both of you should have pressed for the PIF letter right after the debt was paid.i would not have paid it without that provision.that's just me however.
