Being sued. Any help is appreciated

I need to file my denial letter by Monday. However I am unsure of where I am supposed to file this. I am also unsure if it needs to be written or if i can use their form and circle the answers. Also does it need to be mailed or can it be dropped off?
Next question is it seems i got 2 papers both having the same case number. the 2nd one is the Plantiff's request for admissions. This is the one that has all the accept or deny answers on it. and lists a time of 50 days. The first one is the citation.
Some information i see i can use to support my case is the account number listed only has the last 4 digits. Another tidbit is I live and have lived in a different county. I read about michael j scott's spreadsheet and pay out practices. Would i be better off moving it?
Looking forward to any direct i can get and thanks in advance. Now..back to reading.......

You need to read the Rules of Civil Procedure for your state. You will find it on you county court website.
The attorney is probably using his own internal account number.
Who is the plaintiff in this case? Is the the OC or a JDB??

Sorry I forgot that part. Michael j scott is suing me on behalf of capital one. The county they are trying to sue me in is Travis (Austin) but I live in Williamson. I will post up more in a bit when I get to a decent device for posting.

Is this capital one account YOUR account? Cap One will get their judgment unless you have a valid dispute or have paid the debt.

I can honestly not tell by the account number listed as it only has the last 4 digits. Taking any scare tactics out I would not pay this if the law were not involved without proof.

Have you checked your credit report? Do you owe Capital One? In your case, capital one still owns the debt....you could save the courts time by calling them directly and verifiying. Your energy now should be spent and settling the debt before a judgment is rendered against you.

I will call cap one and find out if the account has been sold but I really wish you could offer some more advice instead. My wife has been unemployed for 2 Yeats and we cannot afford much besides the necessities.
Who is the plantiff on the summons? If it is capital one, then
Who is the plantiff on the summons? If it is capital one, then that will tell you that the debt has NOT been sold. Cap One rarely sells its accounts.
Scott would simply be suing on behalf of cap one.
Sorry, there is not much more advise that can be given when you are dealing with an assigned account and CAP ONE
