question re "processing fee"

i made arrangements to pay a monthly amount with a collector -national recovery solutions from lockport ny - for a debt that i do owe. i just did this on thursday. when i got the letter confirming this, they are now telling me that there is a $5 monthly "processing fee" on all transactions. this just absolutely pissed me off big time. this debt is from checkngo -a payday loan. it was taken out in a store here in tennessee not online. i think they are getting around tennessee law by calling this a "processing fee" as tn law states clearly that finance charges cannot be added onto payday loans. is there anything i can do?
