Mother's debt...am i liable?

Hello
While living at my address, my mother has accumulated about $32,000 in debt over 5 credit cards + a creditor called Republic Finance. With me in school and unable to support her, she went to South Korea to try to find some work there. She's been gone for 3 months and hasn't made any payments.
Of course I've been getting all of the mail and phone calls from creditors asking about her. I had a someone from Republic Finance finally show up at my door yesterday.
My question is: am I in any way liable for her debt? I'm a medical student and already have $60,000 in student loans with a full-time course load, there is no way I can get a part-time job or anything like that.
