Old debt resold now being pursued by CA

a debt appeared on my CR Aug 2018 Midwest Recovery Systems $611 for original debtor Cashnet. This is an old debt that has been sold several times. I disputed with CRA and they said it is my debt. I believe the SOL for payday loans in Missouri is 5-6 years. This debt is from 2010. Never contacted by Midwest, how do I get removed from CR, is that even an option?

It happens with a lot of people. This is not the first instance. Your debt has been sold to numerous collection agencies several times. That's why it has been reported on your credit report. It's your debt and that's why the CRA has refused to remove it from your credit report. The SOL has nothing to do with your credit report. Do one thing. Ask Midwest to validate the debt in writing once.
