If A PDL is not licensed in your state, what exactly does that mean? I took out a PDL with CashNet, and Check Recoveries, Inc., is coming after me, but when I checked the MN Dept of Commerce site, they are not licensed as a PDL Vendor in my state. How do I get Check recoveries off my back because of this information?

How much have you borrowed from CashNet? If you still owe on the principal amount, you may consider paying it back and finish the business. But If not, then send the collector a cease and desist letter stating that they are collecting on an illegal pdl.

Have they reported the account on your credit report as well?
