If you are on disability and they end trying to garnish can they do it if you are on disability. I'm not getting any other income and this is not much. This what caused the whole probelm the crap that happen with the credit card companies. Alway had good credit then got raked over the coals could not make payment anymore with all the raiseing of rates and payments ect. Already spent my savings trying to keep up.

Correct, for things like credit cards you are safe. If you have assets that are not exempt those can be taken though. I myself have a $3,800 judgment against me but because I am on SSDI and have no assets, they can't touch me. If they do go after my bank account all I have to prove to the judge is the income is exempt.

Of course if I ever go back to work then they can try to collect. I plan on going bankrupt anyway.
