Where do I start?

I have 3 charged off credit accounts,
1) American Express (Already dealing with them and reaching a settlement)
2) 1st Financial Bank (Charged off)
3) Capital One (Charged off)
Recently got a decent tax refund, with enough $$ to pay off all these accounts in full. I have gotten letters with different collections agencies in the past for #2 and #3, but am unsure what is the most up to date? Who do I call to pay the debt, the original creditor or the collection agency (which I don't even know which one).

Start by requesting validation from the ones you have collection
Start by requesting validation from the ones you have collection agency contact info for. That should provide actual account ownership information.

agreed, will any of the original creditors work with you? i think validating is best but you could try.
after they validate, i would first see what they offer you than make a counter offer.
